Personality:
Shi is shown as a very reserved and "mysterious" person at first. He is blunt and doesn't seem to cater his words to anyone. This of course carries over even into his personal relationships. He hates people being coddled and will do everything he can to let someone know when he thinks they are doing something wrong. This includes his own girlfriend, Iria. On multiple occasions he is shown speaking to her harshly, though it is never meant to hurt really...more to help the other get better. A type of 'tough love' if you will, going so far as to even tearing into Iria after her band's very first performance, saying it sounded like crap and that she was horrible. Of course, this all only proved to make her try that much harder and by the time he watched another performance of theirs, she complimented her in his own way saying "It was better this time."
Even though he is rough on the outside, Shin genuinely cares for Iria. He loves her and cares for her well being.
Because of a situation in which his own father got drunk and accidentally killed another man, Shin has a lot of his own emotional baggage. After the accident people shied away from Shin, fearing he could be just like his dad. It was because of this that he didn't make many friends. All he had really were Iria and Toma. After all they had been his friends since he was born.
One of Shin's biggest fears is hurting someone. To the point that he doesn't like watching anything with too much blood, gore, or violence. He's even afraid to hurt someone while protecting someone else, or to accidentally hurt the person he's protecting. It is shown twice where Shin has told Iria and/or Toma to stay away from him so that if he needs to protect them, they won't get hurt on accident.
Shin seems to love to tease Iria. Telling her that if she isn't careful he won't be able to hold back. He is openly affectionate with her, even going so far as to surprise her with kisses because he "wants her to always be worried when he will kiss her next". Though for all of that it takes her goading him before he willingly lets her hold his hand. He thinks the simple act of hand holding is embarrassing and "for elementary schoolers".
He blames himself for the injuries that Iria received after running away from his teasing, even if they were just an accident. He even profusely apologized to her parents and begged them to allow him to care for her, even when man others thought he had been the one to push her.
Lastly Shin is shown to have a fondness for sweet things. He doesn't like coffee and only drinks black tea with cream and sugar in it.
Powers/Abilities: Absolutely NOTHING....though he is learning to play the bass!
Items on your character: his clothes, his wallet, random odds and ends....basically anything you'd carry around everyday.
